On July 27, USAID Agriculture and Rural development Support (ARDS) organized a round table on Setting Up Distribution Channels for Agricultural Products in Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts. Based on the results of the research, conducted by LLC Synergy Development for the USAID ARDS project in April-June, the round table participants processed joint proposals on developing added value chains, saturating and developing local markets for agrarian products on Donbas. The results of the ARDS-conducted research of agrarian markets of Donetsk, Luhansk Oblasts and adjoining raions of Zaporizhzhia Oblast are available at, and also distributed together with the round table recommendations among the stakeholders.
Vadym Chernysh, Minister of Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine, Olena Kovaliova, Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, representatives from the Ministry of Regional Development, agricultural enterprises, and enterprises processing agricultural products, cooperatives, professional associations, and charity and donor organizations participated at the round table discussion. The event has been attended by 39 journalists, including those from seven national and regional TV channels and several radio channels.
